Brekete Family (The Voice of the Voiceless) is an Award Winning Reality Radio Talk Magazine program that currently airs on 104.5 Crowder Love FM, stationed in the heart of Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria. It is the first and presently the only Reality Radio Talk Magazine program in Nigeria, that comes on air every workday betweeen 7:30am and 8:30am, with transmission coverage within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nasarawa State, Niger State, Kogi State, part of Kaduna State and other part of the world through our online streaming channel.
Brekete Family have other ardent listeners in countries like the United States of America, Ukraine, South Africa, Brazil, Sweden etc. It’s a branded program that caters not just for the ordinary Nigerian, but also those non-Nigerians that are residenced in Nigeria. The program is not “specifically” designed for the poor whose fundamental rights has been violated, but also the rich in the society who in one way or the other, is been victimized either by the poor or the rich.
The Brekete Family program first came on air on January 1, 2010, and has tremendously grew to have a city-wide followership of thousands of listeners, callers and “Family Members”.
The program features real life events and issues bothering on success motivation, human rights, advocacy, investigative journalism and contemporary societal issues. It is also slated to run as a television (TV) show in the nearest future.
MEANING OF HEMBELEMBEH, OLOHLOLOH!
The branded Brekete Family salutation “Hembelembeh” simply means “person wen no get anybody, e get God”, and “Olohlololoh” meaning “person wen get God, e get everything”. That is, he who has nobody, has God and he who has God, has everything.
